iPhone4 - Can I (legally) create a wireless network for things to connect to? (Orange)

From what I can tell the phone is capable of this, but it's been blocked by Orange/Apple?

Just sold a mate my Touchpad & he wants to tether it.

He'll need to jailbreak the iPhone, chaps in the Apple section will have more details.

Unless he wants to get shafted with Orange's iPhone tethering bundles...

That's the thing, they only offer it to business customers.

Seems daft having to have a tethering bundle when you've already got a data bundle!
