iPhoto missing from recent Snow Leopard upgrade

I upgrade to Snow Leopard a few weeks ago now, just went to open iPhoto and realised it's not on here!

Is there a way I can manually install it?

If you did a fresh install, then you're right - It won't be there as it's not part of the operating system.

Dig out the DVDs which came with your Mac and iLife is on the second disk.

Yup there is - Garageband, iMovie, iDVD

Well yes, but they're all part of iLife and will be installed when you do iPhoto.

Considering it's 'free', it's a hugely capable app if you're into musicy stuff.

It's not bad for basic tasks, but once you use Logic you notice how basic it is!

Only used it once to make a ringtone and again to have a play around. It's alright I guess.

It's a consumer level app, of course it's basic compared to Logic you doughnut

Have used GB for a long time, can't really fault it for some basic recording!
