Although, she is much much better than last years one, who couldn't even speak proper english.
 
He'd need to be able to direct the development of young players rather than control it. He's also got to act as a mentor to the senior players. Let's face it, he's not going to be giving Tendulkar batting tips, he'll only be giving him throwdowns and moral support.

Also surprising how badly Mumbai got banged, was the pitch quick or slow in that match? What about the RCB v Pune match?
 
Someone in the Guardian reckons this is basically a contest between Broad and Cook to see who will get to captain the ODI "properly" for the next World Cup. Kinda makes sense then, when you think about it.

Otherwise, it's silly though. As has been said repeatedly, Cook's game has been deliberately changed to get him cutting less, and thereby make him a better Test batsmen. Put him back into ODIs now, and he could well stifle everything because of that.

On the topic of the IPL, did I mention I picked Deccan to support? :(
