ipod dock help

Hi

I'm after a speaker dock to use with my ipod , I have been looking at a few recently such as the Monitor audio idock200 and Zeppelin air.

I have a budget of £500 , the Zeppelin is almost treble the price of the idock200 but both have very good reviews.

would the Zeppelin be worth the extra , i prefer the design and also the airplay feature.

That's quite a budget! Where are you putting this dock? Is it going to be your main music system?

it will be for my bedroom , I have a micro hifi system at present but I want to do away with the wires and have a slightly tidier system.

for £500 B&W Zepplin Air all the way its quality! nothing for half the price is going to have the build quality of a B&W, also no way id have something called an idock when I have a £500 budget or get the mini zeppelin for around £300 if its a smallish room

hi

I have gone for the zeppelin air , so cant wait to get my hands on it.

I have a a question if anyone knows , basically if I have ripped cds to my itunes library in the apple lossless format (Alac) will it stream the alac format over airplay to the zeppelin? , not sure if airplay supports the lossless format.

hi I got my zeppelin air setup after a lot of faffing , took me ages to work out that the zeppelin air firmware program is not compaitable on windows 8.

Also took ages to relise that I dont need the ethernet cable to setup airplay as the newer versions can do it wirelessly.

Does anyone know if I can select/browse music on my ipod using the remote as it seems to only have the basic buttons like volume and next/prev track.
