hi there,
im a bit worried about this one,
today while having a cup of tea, i accidentaly spilt my nearly full mug of tea all over my desk/keyboard and ipod touch!
the keyboard was easily cleaned with a quick blast of compressed air,
the ipod however...
screen started tripping out and i tried turning it off but the screen wasnt responding, cleaned all the tea off i could see and put it in the airing cupboard,
now its dead! wont turn on, nuthing
does anyone now a sollution or what i should do because repair places charge over £75 !!!
thanks,
James

Switching it off was wise, switching it back on on so soon is not! Bung it in a bowl of dry un cooked rice for a week at least before trying to turn it on. Had an iPhone come back to life after going into a swimming pool. Tea mght be a bit more nasty if it was milk and sugar - if so opening it up and cleaning it might be a better option.

i dont know how to open it without breaking the screen :S
it did have sugar either so only the milk, althought that may smell,
any idea on how to open it? ive heard they hold any moisture inside?
thanks
