I'm a new owner of an iPod, so I'm still getting used to using it. However, I do know that it binds itself to a copy of iTunes somehow. Its bound to my PC at the moment, however I'm now without that PC for a couple of months, and I only have my laptop.
Is there a different program I can use to add/remove songs from my iPod without me having to wipe it and start again, which would be a problem since I don't have much music on my laptop.

Thanks.

Good programs mentioned above, but I'm pretty sure I can use my iPod with whatever computer/iTunes I want to.

You can unless it is set to auto-sync, etc. You need to select 'Manually Manage Music' for this to be available. However, sometimes disabling this causes you to loose all of the music on your iPod. I would recommend backing up all of your music before you do this using EphPod. www.ephpod.com is whee you will find it and it is a free download.
