iPod Shuffle: Yay or Nay?

The shuffles haven't changed prince since the time when 1GB for £50 was reasonable, to pay that now is daylight robbery. Combined with the awful dock (take a look at the reviews on the Apple store about replacement shuffle docks) and it's a very unappealing product.

I have one and think they are great!

The fact that they don't havea screen doesn't bother me at all - just set it off on an album and let it role!

The battery life on these little suckers is great too! Keeps going and going!

The older white one had the best SQ of any iPod. (I've just bought another used one) The new one I don't like. Dock is fiddly, sharp edges and doesn't sound as good. As for for albums. I leave it on random till it hits the album I want then switch off random and go foward to back to the track I want. Most of the time I leave it on random. I have another player when I want to be more selective and use playlists etc. There are other players as small that have a screen and sound better than the current shuffle.I'd buy a nano before I'd buy new shuffle.
