yes the catalogue states it is a 3G...the site doesnt mention any of them are 3G!

Not about lack of research. It's false advertising. But I agree, they won't do either of those things in a million years.

It seems to work fine no problems on 3.1.3 but I think if i update to os4 it will run like a dog again.

50% back would be nice or free upgrade.. if I cant get that then a full refund.

That would explain why mine doesn't work like it used to and the battery life has gone from a good few days of just listening to music to about an hour !

It would. This one the battery is lasting much longer..I have been using wi-fi since 3pm and my battery is on half.

I've had it since late Novemeber or early December.

I could take it back and say its faulty, but I know whats causing it and its looking like I can't return it to os 3.1.3.

Unless someone can tell me different I'm stuck with it.

It is faulty and no longer fit for purpose..it isn't your fault apple have made it so you can't go back!

l do a bit more digging, before I go down that road. I got it from where I used to work, and all they'll offer me is to send it off for repair, essentially not so bad just a pain.

We don't have an official apple store down here in Cornwall, I think the closest one we've got is in Plymouth.

Well just got back with a full refund for the ipod touch and the case I purchased for it

so I got £169.99 back in cash.

Also the manager spoke to head office and they are going to send me out some gift vouchers to the value of £50

it is all in they way you ask

So all in all I think I did really well..I didn't want to pay out for the 32GB when a new version will be out in september. I will hold on to the cash and get a new one in september!
