iPod Touch Alternatives?

The iPod touch is something I'd like for xmas, because;
- It looks nice
- It's a good pocket size and shape
- It has wifi
- I have a touch-screen fetish (but I don't need it)

But I don't want it because
- It seems over-priced (main reason)
- It has more restrictions than I'd like

Can anyone recommend alternatives on the iPod touch? It needs 16GB+ of storage, WiFi internet access, a reasonable sized screen, and a good money:substance ratio!

Basically, I'm asking you to choose what I'll ask everyone to chip in towards and buy me for xmas

check out the archos models some of them have wifi and pda functions as well as all the media lot as well

The samsung P2 immediately comes to mind

check it out tho only 8gb
