iPod Touch Capacity = Too small?

Not really, my library is over 80gb's, and I've JUST bought the 32gb touch. I dont think I would want all 80gb's on my ipod anyway.

Got a 16gb touch, love it. Plenty of space and i have games, music and films and music vids on it. and still over 10 gig free :)

Easy solution tho.. 32gb Itouch + Velcro + iPhone = :)

The Ipod's kind of suffer from the usual hard disk problem i.e. no matter what size disk you use you'll always end up filling most of it.

you've just got to load on what you NEED not what you WANT. theres any way you can listen to 80gigs of music, over time your tests change etc so just load on what your into at the time and not a load of rubbish you hardly listen to.

I don't think I ever listen to 4/5 albums during a certain period. I;ve had an iRiver H320 for years and have filled the 20GB up, but I hardly need all that space.

I have decided to go for a 16GB iPhone which will take a few videos, a few games, a few albums and will organise my life too. Looking forward to it. Don't know if it will connect to my car to play the audio like an iPod but I have no immediate interest in that anyway.

i get by with a 4gb sony lol. i dont need to put my entire 90 odd gb of music on there lol. i dont even put music on my iphone, its just annoying.

Surely having Touch is about video as well?

I've got an Archos AV500 and I regularly fill it with 80gb of films and TV, keeping the 4gb on my phone for music.

hmmm, true for most people I guess, but my music library is about 130GB. I recently bought every single Essential Mix available since 1993 and am in the process of listening to each one (2 hours each usually) and rating them with stars so I know which ones I like, and which ones I dont. Theres no way it would be feasible for me to spend hours every day fiddling about with 32GB here, 32GB there - makes much more sense to whack the lot on and never worry. Plus, the touch thing is nice, but will quickly lose its appeal - I still have nightmares about my LG chocolate phone, touch screens annoy me

The touch screen on the iphone is TOTALLY superior to all touch screen i've used. comparing it to the LG Chocolate is an insult to Apple i tell ya !

Agreed.

It's sooo nice to use, i've had mine over 6 months now and I still haven't got bored of the interface, I think it's because I never really liked the non-touch ipod interface with the click wheel.
