ipod touch confusion

Can someone tell me if it will be the case that some games will only work on the 32GB touch. Does the 8GB not have the processing power to play some games?

It's 100 euros difference between the two so important to note.

I'm thinking of getting an 8gb one this afternoon itching to buy but don't want to buy one that can't play 50% of new games that come out

First I've heard of that but the new models do say "Faster performance" against the 32Gb and 64Gb versions.

just checked the wiki and indeed several differences higher processor but also 256MB dram instead of 128 so there will be improving gaming possibilities.

Might just go for the 32GB version

That'd be the safest bet, 8Gb is pretty small to have in an iPod Touch really.

Useful apps.

Yay I ordered a 32GB version last sunday but it won't come until 23rd September

I hate waiting for anything.

(Needs something to take his mind off the wait.)

Can someone point me to some useful apps to get for the touch?

I see there is a 16 page post about it but browsing the posts most posters seem to have the iphone.

The vast majority of the apps for the iPhone work just great on the touch. It's not to do with the CPU or anything, just other hardware bits the phone's got. Like the phone! and 3G, camera, mic (although you can use the mic on headphones if you have it), so that thread applies to you (and me) too. It's usually obvious which ones you can't run.
