ipod touch vista 64 video converter

Video files -> iTunes compatible

Or

DVD -> iTunes compatible?

If it's the former, I'd recommend Videora iPod Touch Converter.. it's riddled with adverts but it's a good app for Windows.

I'd usually recommend Handbrake for the latter, but it doesn't like copy protected discs, whereas the Mac version doesn't batter an eyelid.

For macs use visual hub or isquint

VisualHub is much better - even puts them straight into iTunes for you.

Did you like the adverts? It annoyed me when I tried it for the father-in-law :(

iSquint / Visual Hub for video conversion, or Handbrake for DVD rips (on OS X)

I just set it up to always use pro mode and one touch convert so I never see them.

I used Videora to convert a 700mb divx movie using the standard mode, and the converted video was 1.35GB! Is this normal, or can someone please recommend settings that dont result in movies double the size of the original source?

This is for putting on an iPhone 3G.

not normal, all of my videos have ended up 80-90% of the size of the original using the standard itouch settings and 2 pass method.
