I am planning on getting 1 for xmas
I currently have a nano 4th gen but the screen is too small for movies.
I dont know whether to get the 8gb for £150 or fork out another £80 and get the 32gb

What do you recon?

Get as much space as you can afford. £80 for an extra 24gb is a rip off but you'll fill 8gb in no time at all. A feature length movie (DVD quality) converted to m4v takes up about half a gig.

Can you afford the extra £80? is it a large dent to your cash flow? Will your house payments be effected , could this make you homeless? Has the tax ran out on your car and you need the £80 to stop your car being crushed? If you answered yes to any of the above then no its not worth forking out for it.

Or does the £80 have little effect on your expendable income then the answer is get the 32gb.

I have an 8Gb one, it's fine if you want to sync regularly to change your selection of movies and TV programmes, if you won't be happy doing that though get a larger one. I tend to listen mostly to music and podcasts as there isn't enough room for me to sit and juggle too many TV/movie files.

Music/podcasts - 8Gb is fine.
Video/TV - Definately 16Gb+

i bought my girlfriend a 8GB one for xmas, its only really for music and bordombeating but can play two player games as i have an iphone woo!
