Are the HDD going to be expanded up to 160GB like the iPod Classics?

Why is the storage relatively small in comparison to the Classic?

The ipod touch use flash / nand memory so probably end up more expensive, but give it time it may soon will.

The Classic will be discontinued this year IMO once 128GB iPod Touches roll out. Platter HDD players have died out as flash memory's size/cost ratio has dropped.

Maybe, maybe not. There's always a market for players with huge capacity and now there's a 220Gb drive available that's the right physical size for the Classic, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 220Gb version. I'd have one, my 120Gb Classic is full to bursting.
