Wow, quite worrying! I thought there were similarities with the Yorkshire ripper when I first heard this and I suppose the media think so aswell.

It's scary to think he could migrate to other places in the U.K and maybe target people who aren't prostitutes. I think he is perhaps a copycat killer and will soon do this...

This is pretty messed up tbh. There was a whore strangled in Liverpool not too long ago (down the road from where I was living at the time), anyone know if anyone was caught for that? (not that I suspect that it's related).
 
I think it will go quiet for a while now, there's so much focus on it now he will get caught, unless he carry's on and wants to be caught.

Slightly OT but why is the murderer a "coward"? TBH I would say he was less of a coward than you or me, if it is for a reason as opposed to just targeting a random group of people then at leasth they stand up for what they believe in. :rolleyes:

How many times has keyboard warrior been applied in this forum?

Not that i condone the killer its just that people always seem to call people such as this a coward for no reason whatsoever.

The yorkshire rippers old house is just behind my old school and the garages where one of the bodies was found is closer to my school then his house... used to be well creepy...
 
Just for clarity, I think there's only 3 dead girls, not 5 or 6.

Either way, this is extremely unusual for such a quiet part of the country... (I'm from Newmarket myself)

He's a serial killer who targets prostitutes, that seems to be the justification for the name nowadays. Sutcliffe also primarily targetted prostitutes.

was on local radio this lunch time that they had found 2 more bodies

i think the main thing is the shortness of the killings cos I think the Yorkshire ripper killed 7 0r 8 over a few years months apart didin't he ??

Kill without getting court, with dna and other modern evidance its very hard.
some people see it a s a thrill.

also if all 5 are connected, that's sure is a body count in such a short period of time for a serial killer.

There were weeks some times months between his attacks usually. How many he killed and how many he attacked isn't actually known. IIRC he was convicted of 13 murders and 7 attempted murders.
