Hi

Thoughts on the following for an upgrade to my system.

I've a Lan Cool Mesh case, a 3090FE and a 1k corsair PSU. Gaming at 1440p triple screen.

You will need to update the bios on a Z690 motherboard for the 13th gen to work so unless it has bios flash button a Z790 will work straight out the box.

13700k would be a cheaper better alternate for gaming.

It's a better cost alternative price to performance, the 13900k has 8 more e cores and clocked higher but there close in gaming for a £200 price diffrence

Mite invest in a slighty better motherboard .

IRacing’s long standing problem is ”minimum frames”, it’s quite easy to get 200fps with a far worse computer than yours (excluding ai races) but you will still get big dips on certain parts of certain tracks, even with a 4090. The game is all about CPU, single threaded performance is key.
