Who plays it?

I used to subscribe but suspended my account at the beginning of the year because I didn't have time, however now they've added Outlon Park and Brands Hatch (which I race) I thought it might be a good time to get back in.

I couldn't really use it to train before because it only had Silverstone, but now with more UK tracks it would seem like a good idea for training, the physics and driving model is pretty damn accurate.

If you play/drive iRacing, has it improved this year, anything to note etc?

Brands/Oulton is in now? Awesome, I stopped my sub because I need to be really careful with cash right now, but I'm quite tempted to get back in.

I've been racing in the SimRaceWay beta (replacement of rFactorcentral) and I'm back into rFactor in a big way now. Only problem is the laggy servers, I don't know if it's how rFactor handles online racing (never played rfactor online until now) or where the SRW servers are located, but iRacing was always brilliant for that. Even if pings were not so good, racing was always close and lag free.

I was watching a few Jetta vids on the tube and the grids are much bigger, the racing is really close and looks great fun.

Oulton and Brands are listed on the main site so I'm assuming they are complete and in the sim.

Oulton and Brands are not there yet, there just finishing off Mosport which should be availble in about a month, and then theyve said that they will be finishing Brands I think its expected before the end of the year.

As has been said, Brands and Oulton have been scanned but aren't finished as of yet, the short-term track release schedule seems to be:

Mosport (pretty much done, definately released at the end of this season, end of october)
Brands Hatch - Should be before the end of the year, won't be in a series until the new year though
Zandvoort - not sure how far along they are with this, I believe it's been scanned
Oulton Park - Again, been scanned, not sure what else

Since the beginning of the year there have been several updates/new cars, things I can think of:
Jetta, SRF and Lotus 79 released (Jetta is awful imo, the other two rock :p)
Website overhaul, quite a bit nicer to use now, and they've done some work on the forums in the past week or two as well
No resets above D-Class, replaced with a 'tow' but no damage fixing, not even in pits which is something that's outstanding to get implemented
Tyre temps are now accurate for setting up the car
'Technical inspection' pre-race to fix a bug/exploit where people could run illegal setups
Much better handling of triple monitors in-sim

Loads of other tweaks/fixes, with more on the way including a new tyre model (possibly applied to just one car next season as a test), night racing is on the way, and probably more that I've forgotten etc :p

Oh, yeah, biggest change is 'private leagues' (or whatever they've decided to name them), these should be in there for next season with several leagues already announced etc (unfortunately all the good short-track oval ones are weekday evenings EST which is very early morning our time :()
