irc channel?

The last time I ventured in there, no one talked about nothing but cars. It was kinda dull tbh. Although that was like last year.

That is #overclockers-uk

The one that has been setup in this thread is #ocuk-consoles

I am surprised how many people are in here tbh. And every one of em knows more about IRC than me!

Wow, never knew there was an OcUK IRC chan.... I've been using IRC ever since I first went online back in '95. Gonna go check it out :)

I'm surprised how much IRC knowledge has stuck in my brain tbh. It's years since I last used it... Good to see you're all still using mIRC (except me ;))

Yup it's all coming back

including all the various Reg/Auth/passy change stuff with Q - I can alreasdy just run it off the top of my head....

I've been on quacknet since '97 during the quakeworld days, and sadly since then I've been running the same copy of mirc too lol. I think it's a bit sad that I've known the same bunch of guys since then on our channel, yet never properly met any of them!

Oooooh IRC, not used it for years!

Used to use it a lot in my "Investigating ways into web servers" days.
I wonder if i can find my old mIRC scripts i wrote; Bots, MP3 scripts, etc, etc. Doubt they will work in the current version of mIRC either.

Is dalNET still going?

The website I used above did not work through a proxy server. Anyone know another way I can use this from a work connection?

Some servers should allow you to connect on port 80, that should be open on your works firewall.

Edit: seems none of quakenet's servers allow this :(
