Is 40% APR good?

When will the companies understand there is a reason these people dont get credit and giving it too them at a stupidly high rate they can not pay back is just making everything worse

If someone is willing to give you 40% on your savings then yes it would be great but no, that royally sucks as a rate for a credit card - however it appears to be designed for people who are already noted as being a bad credit risk so all bets are off at this point.

Although not likely, this card can help people with bad credit ratings, if they use it properly, which again, is not likely.

It allows someone who would be refused credit from pretty much everywhere else to rebuild a decent credit rating, as long as they actually borrow money on it wisely, and then pay it off on time.

If I needed to repair my rating, I'd get it.

With that same company, most you can borrow is £500, quickest you can pay back is 31 weeks:

Loan amount
£ 500.00

Weekly repayment
£ 25.00

Total amount payable
£ 775.00

Typical APR
365.1%

You've gotta be pretty desperate for the £500!
