Is 40% APR good?

I get a letter from those people, every week.

The amount of money they are wanting to lend me goes up every couple of weeks, and the interest rate they are lending at is a lot more than 177% now.

Typical APR is quoted at 183.2%

I look at that and think, why am i getting this junk mail?

Do you know what the various status' are of the payment history?

ie 0-paid 1-slightly late 2-very late 3-never paid?

or somthing of that nature? i know credit is normally judged on 3 month blocks
