Is 60hz OK for coding work?

For instance there's the below monitor

Ticks all the boxes for my needs, essentially just for work where I had code, photoshop, email, browser open split across 3 different screens, often with the content on some screens not moving for long periods of time as I focus on 1/2 screens for periods.

But 60hz is my worry. Is this a low refresh rate, especially for text moving about. I often scroll up and down on text/coding apps so want to have decent clarity and no blurring issues

No, it's a standard refresh rate for a non-gaming monitor. It will be fine, you don't need more than 60Hz if you're not gaming. It's still updating 60 times a second.
 
It is, but being a gamer as well and maybe sensitive to it, I find higher refresh rates much more pleasant to use and look at all day. If you’ve experienced higher refresh rate panels then you basically know what you’re missing.

Honestly I've seen people say I need x, y, z feature. It's over loading.

My monitors are old and I'm sure any upgrade will be an upgrade, but I want to make sure I don't get one obvious feature wrong, because if I keep these new ones as long as I keep my last, I'll have them for another 10 odd years.

Just make sure they have decent ppi suitable for text

Some LCD can flicker so make sure it's good for long term use. Something to do with led strobing or something.
 
Gonna buck the trend - 60Hz is OK but I regularly use a mix of monitors from 60 to 200Hz and 100+Hz is noticeably nicer even for general coding use.
 
60Hz on a CRT used to give me headaches, I could see the flicker - especially under 50hz lighting. 70 was much friendlier to my eyes.
Not sure if you'd get the same effect on an LCD though - I suspect not as it's not actually sweeping a light beam into your face.

It's not the same, but yes I had the same issue with 60hz CRT's.

LED do strobe though but it's much higher rate, however I've read reviews on some modern LCD that do have flicker, not because of the VRR switching but how the LED backlights operate
