Also check your ambient room lighting (too bright/dark) can cause headaches. Make sure you take propper breaks, not just 5 minutes here and there.

Yeh, I have that problem at school, the monitors are CRTs all at 60hz, they drive me mad :(. But the company I work for in London has only TFT's, so no problems there.

I used to get head aches/Blood shot eyes with my old CRT monitor. It was mainly because of the glare on the screen which you do not get on LCD monitors.

I would advise that you get rid of the CRT and get an LCD monitor.

I have found that I get a headache if I am not wearing my glasses while sitting at my monitor which is CRT.
I believe that a TFT monitor is easier on the yes so I intend on getting one when my current monitor has come to the end of it's life.
