Apparently on blood tests the period after chrimbo dinner when you can all but fall asleep looks almost identical to liver/kidney failure!!

which is quite surprising for me really. Last Christmas however was definitely the worst Christmas ever as i had flu followed by pneumonia from about end of November to beginning of January so i know how it feels! Anyways get well soon

Same here - the wife's had it for the last week & a half and I had a sore throat come on last night. Not had a cold for a few months so the law of averages would say I was due another.Fubar said:

- seemed to spend most of the last Xmas holiday with my head down the bog ...On friday I suddenly got an absoloute **** of a chesty cough and lost all sense of balance and felt dazed all day. Got a sore throat from the coughing.
On saturday it felt better, but I couldn't breather through my nose, getting through three packs of balsam tissues.
Sunday I was pretty much better.
Sunday night I had the mother of all stomach aches and couldn't stay still to sleep. Paracetamol and ibuprofen didn't do much.
today, feeling a bit better. Stomach feels wierd.
Not the most fun Christmas, health-wise.
