is anyone else addicted to tesco clubcard points?

I think tesco started using more recyclable carrier bags last year but they are still made with oil, need sunlight to degrade and there for make no difference in a landfill. It was just to appease the greenies.

17 billion carrier bags end up in landfills every year in the UK.
There was a 'green' couple in front of me in the queue yesterday making a big deal of how they were using those thick reuseable bags they do. And then they had a big roll of bin liners in their shopping. Irony.

I think picking reciepts up off the floor is cool, +5 coolpoints

:) thanks

yes, my biggest find was a 450 point receipt that hadnt been put onto a card. = £4.50 or £18 in clubcard deals. nice meal for two at cafe rouge etc

How do you use the points instead of getting money off? They send me a voucher every quarter that I usually just put towards my monthly shopping.

you look for the clubcard deal that you'd like to use and enter the online code that's on your voucher that comes through the post.

http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

£1.50= £6 in deals.

you then get sent your deal vouchers through the post.

I use my clubcard when i fill up, the fact that i have a fuel card means its free money to a point, i get a measly £20 or so in vouchers every month or three.

I recently got a Nectar card, seems to be handy because everytime I fuel up I go to BP and part with £50... so might as well get some points :)

I save my club card points up and then buy a load of food and drink at Christmas. I also browse the net for money off codes every week, Ive had at least £10 off our shopping every week for the past 5 months. Thats not including BOGOFS etc.
