Is anyone else experiencing lockups and random restarts - windows 10

Since upgrading, PC will just restart out of the blue. It's quite concerning. Other times, the pc will lock up (mouse etc. is not responsive). If I'm watching a video, an obtrusive sound on loop can be heard - as though it was stuck from 1 millisecond to the next and then just repeating this sound.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Had a new 24in all in one PC for the last 2 weeks
updated to win 10 and no problems so far.
Now im getting used to win 10, I like it.

my internet kept droping out but its been fine since i did a fresh install

The only issues I had were due to my over clock requiring some additional voltage to prevent freezes. Was fine on win7, but win10 needed a slight tweak. Since upping to 1.25v from 1.20v it's been all good.

Not sure if this will be relevant to your problems, but thought it was worth mentioning.

The looping sound you hear when a PC crashes is a result of the way sounds are buffered and played back. It's not cause or a true symptom of a crash.

Make sure your video drivers are upto date AND any apps you use to playback video.

I've found Win 10 to be quite flaky when done as an upgrade but as a clean install its been generally quite solid and fluid, really liking Win 10 so far
