Hey guys

i been using this setting for ages now, but its starting to do my head in as the shut down times are stupidly slow because of it

is it really worth it? and do programs like tune up, ccleaner clear it anyway?

opinions please :)

thanks

You could completley disable the pagefile.
Could. But shouldn't.

obviously its not good to run without virtual memory
That's impossible anyway :p

Turn off the Registry setting. It's useless. Why did you enable it in the first place?

The page file gets overwritten each time you boot up your PC. During runtime it is managed by the kernel. There is no third party software that can optimise this at all. It is already optimised.

unless you have something to hide (;)), i wouldn't bother clearing it.

I use a program called tunexp to disable. It does some other cool stuff aswell. Take a look at that :)

Seems pointless to me as your only going to have to load the data from the page file as apposed to somewhere else on the hdd i cant see how that will improve performance.
