seems like you got burned, you should really read the small print before you buy, this wasn't a company particularly interested in pc players continued happiness.
The whole pc Market is shrinking is rubbish quite frankly. PCs aren't game specific, businesses can't use the PS3 to create documents or communicate, grandma doesn't use a PS3 to email and students don't carry round PS3s to surf or write. As long as PCs are produced at a 100 to 1 rate compared to PS3s there will always be a gaming base buying the top end versions and plenty of people happy to develop for them and take their cash.
Personally I love my PS3, my thanks to Sony who are making a huge loss in the billions keeping it going. It's great for any game that can function with twiddly joysticks and 12 buttons and for streaming. But when I want to play the highest grossing game ever (or any mmo for that matter), not have to pay near full price for second hand games, not be at the mercy of a particular company and various red lights of death... Then I'm back to my PC.
