Is COD2 limited to 91fps?

Hi all,

Every time i run COD2 i get a constant framerate of 91fps, never higher and never lower. Is it limited to 91fps? If so then is there a modification that can be made to give higher framerates?

goes above 91 on myn (DX7 mode btw)

Have you got the refresh rate on your adapter to 90Hz and v-sync enabled in-game or in your display properties?

V-sync disabled in both drivers and game. Running in DX7 mode.

Do you mean 90Hz monitor refresh rate? Monitor's set at 72Hz.

fps must be caps.

0 means unlimited, so whatever it can output, 91 seems pretty healthy though

It's probably at cg_maxFPS 91 or something.

I think it's cg.. might be com or something, have a look, it pops up wiht predictive.

would make sence if its caped at that when online, stop those jumping higher cheats

yeah its com_maxfps x, cg is used to draw the FPS.

lol i totally posted the wrong one - 125 is the sweet spot for cod by the way - 333 being the next level - id leave it capped so it dont rapidly chaneg a lot

125 is the Q3 engine jump bug, doesnt work in cod 2 if I remember correctly
