Yes, that's true. It's quite possible that I went back in time (possibly killed the person who would design Skynet) and posted in a thread yesterday just to give me a convenient ripost to a thread today. :p

I don't mind playing footie, I just hate watching it/talking about it. Same with every other sport - which is why I'm glad there's a forum just for people to discuss sport.....although sadly I'm sure GD will become the unofficial world-cup discussion forum for the next 4 weeks. :(
 
Damn right it will. I've been waiting ages for this day. Its too long from the end of the footy season to the start of the WC :D

I'm always last to be picked and in some cases never picked at all, so I just lean up on the wall, or sit up in the bleachers with the rest of the girls who came to watch their man ball.

Bizzare...there were pics of Abigail Clancy in the Express today, where she was quoted as being the 'lanky striker's girlfriend of 6 months'.

Maybe he's seeing them both - and fighting over Peter Crouch :eek: what are they THINKING?!??!
 
I don't care who he's going out with, or the fact his robot isn't particularly good. The team are getting a laugh out of it, he's finally fitting in and if he's doing that dance then we've just scored. Fine by me. :)

I have been a ridiculously fierce critic of Crouch but I have to admit he's even starting to win me over. He had the balls to dance like that in the middle of an England international with millions of people who'd spent 12 months booing him watching. Well played lad.

I'd love to see 50 million people do the robot on July 9th. Now that'd be ace. :D
