Is drinking at this time bad?

no, theres worse things. like my mates mate passing out all night in gatecrasher (riush) from OD then coming round about 8.30 in the train station and trying to get 4 cans :o

It doesn't seem very professional to drink in work whether or not you are there voluntarily, especially a cheap bum drink like Tennents. If you get on with the bosses and they don't mind it then fair enough but if one of my employees was drinking in work I'd be quite hacked off.

I dredd to think what would happen to me if I was drinking Tennents in work :D

Don't see any problem in drinking at this time of day (or whenever it was you started) but, off duty or not personally I don't think you should be drinking in the office when there are other colleagues are around. I'd bounce out the door anyone who was drinking in my office when others were working.

But then again all us Scots need an early start today to be suitably mellow by the time the game starts today :p

Drinking from the time you get up till the time you get searched on the way in to Hampden is a tradition, dont let work get in the way :p

I'm a Customs Officer, so drinking on the job almost goes hand in hand :D

You are a disgrace to HM Customs and should be sacked, and your job given to me. :D

Got to go to the off-licence now, i feel a thirst coming on....

Well the office doesn't get many calls on the weekend funnily enough! So its not like I am having to deal with the public! We have a drink most Fridays, hence why the fridge is full!

There are quite a few full time alcoholics in this Department come to think of it

Sorry to say, as it seems that I'm in a very small minority; Drinking alcohol/work/time of day .................. all bad and extremely unprofessional.
If I were your boss, you'd be out the door and not coming back!

At home or in the pub for an early match is one thing (as long as it isn't every day) but proclaiming yourself a Revenue and Customs professional and then telling us that you are on your fourth can ...... A big NO NO.

Word.

Keep drinking them until you are shouting abuse inchoherently at passers by out of the windows. :p

I don't think it's bad having a drink in the morning if it's just a one off, but if it's every day then I'd say yes it's bad.

You've got good reason to have a few now - just looked at the Scotland score!!!

Us English have the excuse to drown our sorrows after watching their game

 :D
