Is "Duplicate Display" with a second monitor less intensive than "Extend"?

Hi everyone, just wondering if having a second or third monitor set to "Duplicate" is less hardware intensive than Extending a display, if so by how much,

Yeah i had the same logic except i figured it would apply to 2D also, only needing to render it once it could just display on both
