Hi everyone, just wondering if having a second or third monitor set to "Duplicate" is less hardware intensive than Extending a display, if so by how much,

thanks

Wouldn't have thought there should be any difference if just on about 2D, windows desktop etc.

Running 3D apps e.g. Games, I would have thought it would be less intensive as the GPU would render the scene once and display on both screens - if extending or running independently then it would have to render unique scene for each monitor.
