Honey is mostly sugar, and too much sugar is bad:

1) For your teeth.

2) Because your body burns through the sugar before working on any carbs and fats. If you snack enough, your body will just use the sugar and leave all your meals to just turn into fat...

Also, because it burns through the sugar so quickly and then hits the brick wall of carbs and fats both of which require a lot more processing to burn, you have a sugar crash which ends up making you feel lethargic and hungry.

In moderation honey is fine, just like sugar is :)

So many misconceptions.

* Sugar is a type of carb.

* Your body does not burn through sugar first before working on fats.

* Sugars are broken down into glucose and then stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles.

* Honey is low GI so does not cause insulin spikes and crashes.

What a bunch of whining sissies...

Honey is perfectly fine. I'd be a bit concerned if you're getting through a jar a week, but besides that brush your teeth and get some exercise and it's all good.
