Seems that everything I need to buy at the moment for a PC is out of stock. Graphics cards, power supplies, monitors. Is it just my imagination or do UK stock levels seem to be amazingly low ( not just overclockers but everywhere)?

Not just IT. At work we have been trying to get some high end kitchen appliances. No chance. Everywhere is quoting post 2020 as there are manufacturing and supply issues due to covid.

More people are stuck at home working or otherwise so the nerdiness of the population has increased dramatically.

Also with a lack of services to spend money on there is increased demand for "things" to make home nicer.

There's this thing called Covid-19 knocking around affecting pretty much every sector on the planet. Please remember not to get caught out on GPU price bumps due to on the fly dollar exchange rate conversions.

Big retailers in the USA are now saying today they are not expecting any more stock of the new AMD cpus until March 2021!!!!!!!

I tried selling a brand new psu a year ago on eBay worth about £90 best offer was £35.

Put it up a month ago and got like £150.

It's a good time to be a seller but not a buyer.

On the lookout for a toaster, and lots of places i've looked at have many toasters out of stock.
