If your looking for a faster boot drive then SSD is your best option. Unless your doing lots of large read/writes on your data drive you may aswell stick with the F1, although the F3 is faster it's not a massive jump if you don't really need the extra speed.
I used Samsung F3 as master drive and F1 as 2nd drive (both are 1TB) - think it could be change in platter as F3 is 2x500GB and F1 is 3x334GB - both run nicely and quite cheap.
