Fish is Fish, don't try and class it as meat otherwise you might anger a bunch of semi-vegetarians and they may visit their fishy wrath upon you.

To be honest, I'm wondering why people seem to think the classification of "fish" isn't appropriate? Never seemed to cause me any problems.
Besides you'll get odd looks if you go into the supermarket, and go looking for some meat at the fish counter.
Maybe I just completely missed the point?
Well if people think fish = fish and meat = meat, you are probably going to have problems convincing them otherwise with a logical arguement
The reason is that a lot of vegetarians choose to eat fish purely because they think it's not a meat. Which is incorrect. So a lot of them are wrong, or in denial.
I entirely sympathise with your predicament but I fear you are missing an opportunity here. When the impromtu application is rejected you should immediately stab them in the eye - you have somewhere to look (at the target), there is a mere momentary silence before the screams of pain and most importantly you are one step closer to achieving your target of eradicating idiots. I count that as a success, you are a winner from all steps in the plan.
I find a compelling logic in this plan.

My girlfriend tried to tell me that the nice piece of sirloin steak wasnt from a cow, when i asked her what animal it came from she couldnt tell me but was still sure it wasnt cow. As sad as that is it makes me laugh a little and worry if people have any clue about what they are eating. Sad thing is any rational person whos takes attention of the discusion would realsie that fish meat is just that meat. id have them struggle to explain how crabs and lobster have meat and fish dont, after all what makes crab meat crab meat and not just plain old crab same with lobster
But so is eating vegetables. Both are murder.
