Is Gmail playing up for anyone else?

I can't login as my main email but others work OK, I've had it set to auto login for ages and I know for sure the password is not incorrect but it won't login.

Gmail notifier just says "failed to login" when it attempts to...login, never had this issue before, it's definitely not the addon as I've tried from the Gmail page and it's not having any of it.

Right, I filled out that little captcha thing that only shows up when you insert the wrong password, put the exact same password in and now it's working. Gmail notifier also logged in fine. (using the same password that it was trying to login with earlier, so I know the password was not typed in accidently)

What the hell was that all about?

Can't have, I never changed the stored password on Gmail notifer so it was still logging in as normal but getting declined.
