i see you chaps blathering on about it a lot. Whats the crack with it then? if its good i shall buy it and play it on my week off.

Do you want an arcady racing game?
Do you want a very fun game?
Do you find Gran Turismo a bit clinical?
Do you want a fun, if a little frustrating at times, online game?
Do you want a very very very pretty racing game?
Do you want funky crash effects?

If you answered yes to all or most of the above, then yes, get it.

But just to be on the safe side, get the Demo and see for yourself http://www.download.com/GRID-demo/3000-7531_4-10840775.html?hhTest

think i may have a wander into GAME on sat then. Then go to my sisters and steal her fiancees steering wheel *evil laugh*

i shall keep that in mind good sir. is there anything i need to D/l or buy to get my Xbox pads working on my machine?

If its a wired pad, plug it in, and let windows download the drivers from microsoft. You might want to just check round the site for the latest ones though, the ones it autodownloaded for mine didnt support rumble, but the latest ones do.

If you hit a 360 pad button when you start grid it auto configures. It even changes the on screen prompts to 360 buttons :)

cool, i have an old CORE system and a newer one, so i still ahve 2 pads from back in the day. Cheers for the info.

it's arcadey racing, not realistic

cross between Destruction Derby 2, Need for Speed and has great graphics & sound

my favourite type of racing game tbh

downloading steam now. have my trusty visa at the ready.

$39.99 + tax + converstion charges make it about £30.

can be had for £19.99 on CD

Actually, i think i would go for the Steam version. IT was $49,99 when it first came out on Steam which was to much.

(lol, COD4 is still $70 on Steam)
