is GRID worth getting?

Some more info as I increase my disdain for this game...
I got my Logitech force feedback wheel back off my boss today and re installed this game..

By the way it takes up 10.1 GB :eek::eek::eek: of space, which I also find bloody ridiculous.
Anyway, Reinstalled none the less and tried again..
What a surprise, it doesn't even recognise the wheel.
Went to uninstall it and it crashes and wont remove LOL, it knows that I have lost patience with it now..
One for members market I think!!

Piece of **** TBH

Sorry guys, I was mistaken. 1 user has had issues with a game designed to run on countless combinations of hardware. I must therefore retract all my opinions on this game and call it ***...

Or I could just ignore winging idiots and carry on enjoying this game!

Any particular reason you have issues with my opinion of this game?

I never said anything about the actual game play, the graphics are in fact quite good and I can happily max everything out for it to still run fine.
What I do have issue with is it's size on disc and it's compatibility with MY hardware.
Hence why it went on MM last night and it sold within 20 mins.
I'm sure it's new owner will have hours of fun with it.
It's not like a logitech force feedback wheel, a PS3 controller or a Saitek rumble pad is some unknown hardware.
That's the three combinations I had, that's what didn't work and I'm not prepared to buy yet another controller for just one game.
My opinion stands and is as valid as anyone elses.

That's a some strong assumption esp as you do not need a CD key for this game to play offline.

It does not ask for any key to install or play unless you go online and like mulitplayer.

Don't need one for online.

There is no online key...

Prepared to post a pic of your box with a unique witty message so we know it's yours?

Get Lost m8.

You said this :

You called him a Pirate for saying there is no CD Key needed.

I said you do not need a CD key for Single Player as I own and play or try to play it (the game was unusable before patches for me) so I have had 20mins or so here and there playing it.

I do not play multiplayer games period so that was a guess.

I think you really need to mind your won business and not call other pirates.

If I was going to take the time to prove my game is legit for sticking up for a user you called a pirate, I would need go and grab my box, scan it in and upload to a server and I would then get banned for my "witty message" which would contain your name and a four lettered word followed by OFF. ;)

So are you guys saying if I go buy an Xbox 360 controler, I will be able to use that on my PC? ( Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit) with Race driver and other games?

If so...

didnt need a cd at all for my copy of grid

steam :o

anyway Ice On Fire, yep. the wired controller works fine, as does the wireless controller. peopel will tell you that you need to buy the wireless dongle for it as well but you can buy the 360 wireless pad for windows which comes with a wireless reciever, which is what i did, and saved some money in the process

MS do 2.

There is a wired one, or a wireless one with a USB dongle. They are both branded in red boxes labeled "xbox 360 controller for Windows"

They are however, no different to actual 360 controllers. They are identical hardware, the only difference is the box colour, the fact they come with an un-needed (unless on windows 98) driver CD and the fact the WiFi one comes with a usb dongle. Get either a wireless one for PC, or a wired one for either xbox or pc, doesnt matter, just get the cheapest. But if you have a 360 with a wireless pad already, just get a dongle.
