Is hard drive dying?

well started today normally play itunes music while gaming but music is slowing down dont know if its hard drive or power suply. fans(ultra violiot are diming when slows down so thinking power issue not sure though, also put mb sensor on and that was on alarm saying to hot 46 dgrees so what you think power or harddrive.ive took side off so dont think heat issue cause still doing above but not as hot.

cant really understand what youve said but im thinking power issue maybe. but im not sure if that would cause your problems though.

can you run a program that monitors your voltages such as 'speedfan' and report back?

ok vcore is 1.41v
+3.3 is 3.31v
+5 is 5.00v
+12v is 12.54v
cpu is 33c
mb is 30c
this is in basic internet slash settings ,when gaming with itunes playing music slows sometimes and +5 dropping to 4.97volts dunno if thats prob thought psu should be anough spec
am2 3800x2
512mb 667 mem
sonyx18 dvdrw
80gb hd
7600gt
450w psu has been running fine for weeks but just started playing up today no spyware or viruses and dont think memory as it was fine before running same progs toggether.

what are your voltages under load?

use a program such as orthos to find this?

have you got your system overclocked? is yes are you sure its stable

what PSU have you, eg Generic or a brand name one?

how long have you had the system?

not oc yet just put together bout 3 weeks been fine . psu is cheapo yes know not good but money issue , thats y thinking its psu and hardrive was out last machine everything else brandnew.
