I don't think that is the original thread.
Could be a Hornet, I did see one years ago & it was about 3 times the size of a wasp. Not as aggressive as a wasp but I wouldnt want to anger it, as it would sting me then fly off to get its mates for round 2

My wife found a very similar wasp in our attic the other day. Might have been a Queen but I have no way of knowing. It was big and angry, that’s all I know. I trapped it and threw it out of the window.

They're getting upset now that summer's ending. I love it.
After a great deal of research, bees have developed a foolproof defence against the latter. They went paperless and don't have a letterbox. It's a cunning plan!
So nuking from orbit is the only option.
