It depends on what you mean by great looking hair. Great looking hair means all soft and silky, hence L'oreal conditioner. A real man doesn't want soft and silky hair unless you are a bit camp or feminine, or boris johnson.

What I see there are hair gel, shower gel, conditioner, deoderant and aftershave. Only remotly gay thing is the conditioner, but if you've got quite long hair I'd imagine it's needed.

I like to smell differently when i can.

I generally use Paul Smith/Moschino/DKNY Be Delicious to college etc.

Nah mate you're just metro. Though in all honesty I don't see the point in having all that stuff. I just don't "get" it. I don't need moisturiser, I don't need shampoo or conditioner (my hair is too short), I don't need gel, balms or any other weird gloopy stuff. All I need is, shower gel, soap, shaving gel, deodorant, and sometimes after shave. Easy!

however... some people don't need that crap to look good
