Is it just me who thinks this is a bit off?

So a friend of an acquaintance is opening a cocktail bar in London. He is calling it Manhattans Project. Given what the Manhattan project was ultimately started for, and what it produced, does anyone else not find this a little distateful and provocative or is it just me?

Yeah a little off. The Manhattan project advanced science, saved untold lives and prevented a all communist Asia from forming, whereas a cocktail bar sells poisons at inflated prices

Meh its not a particularly original or funny name but plenty of places do it for shock value or to get noticed.

Probably find no long term value in the name and change it after a short time anyway so no massive reason to get panties all twisted.

Nothing wrong with it at all. If he posted images of people burning and that then perhaps, but it's hardly anything to get your knickers in a twist about.
