Is it me or did EE just get really aggressive in pricing?

Some strange prices on there, 4GB data and unlimited minutes cost the same as 2GB data and 2000 minutes?

Hopefully these prices will stay, tempted to switch from Three just to get a decent tethering allowance (don't need 10GB of data, however I certainly need more than 1GB of tetherable data). To be honest, taking into account their coverage (including in poor signal areas) this is a great deal.

Now trying to think of potential catches, this being EE and all...

My 12 month rolling sim only deal came to an end a while ago with EE and the:12months / 4GB Data / Unlimited Minutes / Unlimited Texts = £19.99 does look tempting.

Looks like they are realising they are too damn expensive. Good :D I get good orange signal here!

However, people I ring on orange/ee experience regular drop outs

Dont forget your quidco, looks like you can get £70 for £19.99 and £22.99 deals.

It also looks like their prices keep changing not sure whats going on with their site.

For those who are already subscribed, or looking to subscribe, to one of EE's Unlimited ADSL2+ or Fibre Broadband packages, then it seems as though there are some good bundle deals:

If you take home broadband with a 4GEE pay monthly plan, we'll boost your 4GEE data allowance to a massive 10GB (or 20GB if the 4GEE plan is over £46).

Save a packet with a 4GEE sharer plan for up to four people. You'll get unlimited mobile minutes and text, and you can share your 10GB data allowance.

http://shop.ee.co.uk/bundles-and-offers/household

On the old site, it listed an additional shared 4GEE SIM for £5 p/m when on a 24-month contract, but with no mention of the price for 12-month or 1-month contracts. However, I can no longer see any reference here: http://shop.ee.co.uk/sharer-bundles . I could phone the helpline as recommended, but to avoid ambiguity I'd prefer to see it written in one of the updated PDFs.

Therefore, when combined with broadband, the 100MB / 500 mins / 500 texts package would offer 10GB for 1 person (or shared amongst 4 people for an increased cost) for £9.99 p/m for a 12-month contract or £12.99 for a 1-month contract.

Depending on the sharer price, this could work out to be more attractive than 2/3/4 instances of T-Mobile's basic package where Sharer plans are not available: £8 for a 12-month contract with 250MB / 500 mins / 500 texts.

Unfortunately, this would still seem to be regular speed 4G (4GEE) rather than Double-Speed 4G (4GEE+).

Alternatively, there are the data-only SIM-only plans which are only available in 1-month contracts:

£16 p/m for 3GB (regular speed 4G / 4GEE)
£21 p/m for 5GB (Double-Speed 4G / 4GEE+)
£26 p/m for 8GB (Double-Speed 4G / 4GEE+)

Boosting the allowance to 10GB by bundling would be not be as great a benefit here, of course.
