I walked into our Health Records last week and a couple of lads were on their break and I could see they were playing a game against each other on their phones so I got closer and they had iPhones.
I went past them and they were controlling the footballers on an iPad :eek:

I don't think we can do that on Android.

even though I'm useless at playing the guitar I'd still love to have a play with that. There's loads of other iPad hardware addons coming out soon, just google NAMM 2012. one of my favourites being a Mackie sound desk with iPad remote control, the advert is awesome also:

That's what he was showing me in the shop.
I already have a 3k Mackie PA.

I guess if you're playing different venues then you'll probably have to tweak the sound for each room.

Smaller rooms tend to need less bass, and having a mixer with remote control can be handy to see what the mix sounds like in various points in the room.

While the mixer isn't cheap, decent PA gear also isn't cheap as I'm sure you'll know and I'm sure it would pay for itself eventually
