Hi guys/girls

I currently have the following

Asus Crosshair V Formula Z Mobo
Asus ROG RAIDR

My Question is, has anyone tried the the following and/or know if it would be possible

Asus Crosshair V Formula Z Mobo
Asus ROG RAIDR
2x ASUS ROG 280x/290x Crossfire (3slot cooler)
ASUS ROG Xonar Pheobus

with a PCIE addaptor on the bottom PCIEx4 slot to the raidr, would this setup be possible?
 
That doesn't look possible, its the 3 slot coolers which are the problem...

Even if you could get it to work it would be very hot, with the sound card in there..

Have you thought about watercooling?

Is a sound card NEEDED?
 
i know things would be hot, thats why im holding off to get non ref coolers, and the 3 slot coolers are good, and i like the build quality of the ROG products.

My case it pretty well cooled. got 4 120mm front intake fans at the fron (antec 1100)

due to the case design, the side panel can fit another 2 x120mm which would do a good job of moving a lot of the heat as they are directly ontop of the GPUs.

Im considering watercooling, but 2x no ref card + watercooling will be out of my budget for the time being.
