Is it possible just to add another Sata drive?

Is it possible just to add another Sata drive to the system below, had a virus which destroyed my windows system and would just like to add another drive and install new windows software. This will allow me to salvage all my data.

Yeah, it should show up in windows setup once you've put it in, provided it is formatted.

Re-installing windows wont actually kill your files - only your windows folder is nuked (which is prob where the virus has put all its hook) program file/documents and settings remain untouched. Just select the "leave file system well alone" option and when it tells you its found an existing windows install say "yes" (or "L") to delete it. Job done
You can add another SATA drive tho yup - you'd prob need to unplug your current drive during install so it doesnt get confused
