IS IT POSSIBLE TO PHYSICALLY DISABLE THE ETHERNET PORT ON A MOTHERBOARD ?

Hi there modders,

Do any of you know if its physically possible to remove or disable the ethernet port on a motherboard without breaking the motherboard ?

ethernet port-towers (assuming they don't have other things in them) are relatively easy to de-solder.

but turning it off in the bios will have the same effect.

Reason I want to have it removed is that I want to be as far away as possible from the internet but still want to be able to play my Emulators, watch and listen to my music and videos. Disabling it in the BIOS is no good to me as it's to easy just to enable it again.

Is the internet getting in the way of other things? Explain yourself, why disabling in the BIOS isn't enough? How about not having internet in general?
