is it possible to retrieve something which u uninstalled?

hello people!!

Is there a way to retreive a program that you uninstalled?? i uninstalled something which i didnt think i'd need but i actually do need it now and do not have a copy of it on cd. i uninstalled it yesterday... is there a way to bring it back?

Depending on your OS, your best bet would be to roll back to a restore point. This would restore your system (but not your data) to how it was when that restore point was created.

Assuming you're using XP, have a look at the following link:
