Is it possible to run two mobile phones concurrently?

one thing on the tablet note, why do people not just activate the wifi router on their phone (assuming it has it) and have the tablet set to use that, mobile internet on both phone and tablet then for the price of one sim?

This one is dead simple actually. It's the same reply to the question of why do people buy USB sticks when every nokia made since 1998 comes with software to tether (or for that matter, 95% of phones)?

A: We are better at marketing than we are at informing what features are possible with your phones :)

i have a spare old handset, when i head into town for a wild one or go to a concert/festival i switch to the cruddy handset..

Because it would be much simpler (think of batter drain as well) to just have two sims linked to the same account. Obviously you would then be allowed to tether (and have more data)*.

*Because anyone takes notice of this at the moment?:p

Small price to pay compared to £100+ more for 3g tabs over WiFi only, before the additional contract with data!
